The price customers see updates live as they customize. For Signs & Panels, Banners and Stickers it is built from three layers: the material and its pricing profile, the options chosen, and the order rules (quantity, minimum price).

How the price is built

  1. Base price — material × size

The selected material points to a pricing profile. The profile turns the surface of the sign (width × height of the selected or custom size) into a price.

  2. Text

A profile can charge per character beyond a number of free characters.

  3. Options

Shape, fixing method, border, color, lighting, thickness, cliparts and additional components add their additional price. A thickness or a double-sided sign can multiply the total instead.

  4. Order rules

Quantity discounts, quantity limits and the minimum order price apply last.

Pricing profiles

Open Core Setup › Pricing and click Add new pricing. Give the profile a Label (internal, e.g. “Aluminium 3 mm”), then add its ranges.

17 s — open a pricing profile, its ranges and the range editor.

A range is defined by a Size: the side of a square of the same surface. The app shows the matching surface — 245 mm covers signs up to 60 000 mm², the surface of a 300 × 200 mm sign. Each range applies from the end of the previous one up to its own size, so add them from the smallest to the largest.

Flat ranges

Per-unit pricing off: every sign that falls in a range costs its Base price.

When to use it
Price bands by format: “up to A4: 29”, “up to A3: 45”, “up to A2: 69”.

Per-unit ranges

Turn on Per-unit pricing: the base price becomes a price per mm² (or per cm², in the configuration’s unit), multiplied by the surface of the sign.

When to use it
Materials sold by the square meter, with one range — or degressive pricing with several ranges, so large signs cost less per m² than small ones.

Each range also has a Char price (added for every character of text) and a Shipping price. Turn on Weight-based shipping to compute shipping from the volumetric weight instead: each range then takes width and height modifiers and a length for the parcel, and the profile a Volumetric divisor (your carrier’s, 5 000 by default).

Finally, link the profile to one or more materials in Core Setup › Materials (“Pricing used by this material”).

Option prices

Every option has an Additional price field: shapes, fixing methods, borders and border colors, colors, lighting colors, cliparts, additional component values. Thickness values and double-sided signs (Editor Setup › Sign Part) can either add an amount or apply a multiplier to the total.

Order rules

  • Settings › General › Discounts — a percentage or fixed discount, optionally by quantity lots (“10+ signs: −10 %”).
  • Settings › General › Quantity Limits — minimum and maximum quantity per order.
  • Settings › Customizer Setup › Minimum Order Price — if the total is lower, this minimum is charged. 0 disables it.
  • Hide sign pricing on design screen (Settings › General › Product) — hide the live price, for quote-only products.

Neon and Channel letters

Letter signs use their own pricing modes (per letter, per size, by material length…). They are covered step by step in Neon Letter and Channel Letter.

Pricing checklist

  • Every material is linked to a pricing profile.
  • Your smallest and largest signs both give a sensible price.
  • A minimum order price covers set-up costs on tiny signs.
  • Test a full order: the cart total matches the configurator.
