Orders & Production Files
Understand what to verify after a customer places an order and how customization data supports production.
When a customer orders a customized sign, All Sign Customizer attaches everything production needs to the Shopify order: the recap of choices, the design preview and print-ready files.
What is saved with the order
Material, size and thickness, shape, fixing method, border, color, every text (with its font) — per face for double-sided signs.
Images of the design in the formats you chose, a PDF at your print resolution, and the printable file.
The logos and photos the customer placed on the sign, in their original files.
The files of each order line are packed in a zip, named with your prefix and the order number.
In the Shopify order
Open the order in Shopify › Orders. The All Signs Customizer block on the order page lists each customized line with its quantity, the recap of options and texts, and links to download the zip and the individual files. Each customized sign is added to the cart as its own variant whose name summarizes the main choices, so they also appear on packing slips and invoices.
Admin blocks can be hidden by Shopify. On the order page, open the apps section and add All Signs Customizer from the available blocks: it then shows on every order.
Email notifications
In Global Settings › Output, choose who is notified when an order with a custom sign is created:
- Send email to admin — to the addresses in Admin recipient emails (your workshop, your production manager).
- Send email to customer — a copy of the design for the customer.
Neon and Channel letter configurations can also email the manufacturer directly, with your own subject and template (Settings › Output › Manufacturer Email).
Production checklist
- Download the zip and open the PDF: dimensions and resolution are right.
- Compare the recap with the preview: material, color, fixing, texts.
- Check customer uploads are sharp enough at the final size.
- For double-sided signs, produce both faces.
- Pack the fixing hardware listed in the recap.
To change formats, resolution, watermark or file names, see Output Settings.
