Preview, Save & Share

Before customers see a configuration, preview it from the admin. Once it is live, they can save their design and share it.

Preview in the admin

Click Preview in the header of any configuration screen. The real configurator opens with your current settings — the same code customers run — in a preview mode where Add to cart is disabled. Close it to return exactly where you were.

• Every step appears in the order you set.
• The price reacts to size, material and options.
• Texts, uploads and colors render as you expect.
• The recap lists everything production needs.

Let customers save and share

In Settings › General › Mode:

• Allow Save — customers save their configuration and come back to it later.
• Allow Share — customers get a link to their design, to send to a colleague or a client for approval.
• Share Sign Location — show the share button in the options and the review, or in the review only.

The wording of these buttons is set in Settings › Language & Images.

Download and recap

• Enable Download Image (Editor Setup › Image Setup) lets customers download a picture of their design.
• Show recap after finish (Settings › General › Product) shows a summary of every choice before the product goes to the cart.

Test on the storefront

The admin preview does not replace one real test: open the connected product on your store, customize it, add it to the cart and check the cart line and the order (see Orders & Production Files).
